ONE VOICE / ONE SOUND

THE SAGA CONTINUES ...

DRIVEN TO CHALLENGE THE MIND

The Author's Online Ledger

February, 2006:  Contacted "The Vine" Newspaper referencing placing an Announcement in that newspaper about our work.  Basically, we were ignored.

March, 2006:  Contacted “The Washington Informer” Newspaper referencing placing an Announcement in that Newspaper about our work.  Basically, we were ignored.

April, 2006:  We received our first shipment of promotional items.

January, 2007:  Settled a Lawsuit against a local "Rag-Mag" Distributor, after one of their Asian Reporters faked interest in writing a story about our cause, spent 3 1/2 hours in our office taking notes, then returned to his office and wrote a Slanderous / Defamatory article about us.  We filed a $3,000,000.00 Lawsuit.   The Reporter was fired, and the Editor approving the story was dismissed as well.

February, 2007:  We joined “Divas on the Prowl" Online.

January, 2008:   Settled a lawsuit against our "previously" commissioned Book Production and Distribution Agent for the Book we have for sale on our website, after they canceled our Contract with them back in 2006 simply because we questioned them about our "Royalties" which were "continuously" coming up short.  Unfortunately for them, despite their cancellation of our contract over two (2) years ago, we discovered that they had continued to sell our book "unauthorized" through other channels "online".

February, 2008:  We joined Black Business Space and nine (9) NING networks online.

March, 2008:   We created a new website for One Voice/One Sound.

March, 2008:   We created a new email marketing Campaign.

April, 2008:    We returned the "Personal" Check of a potential book purchaser from out of State; we do not accept personal checks for the book sold here.  (She never sent an alternate form of payment.)

April, 2008:   We departed from all NING Networks "except" Black Business Space, after it began to come clear to us that most of their members simply wanted to advertise what they had to sell our page, but never contributed anything to our fight to save the lives of children, written or verbally, even after we explained that this is "all" that we required.

April, 2008:   Joined You-Tube Online Broadcasting:  http://www.youtube.com/user/AboutOneChild

April, 2008:   We received correspondence from the District Attorney's Office in Georgia informing us that the "Predators" noted on our site were incarcerated and that upon release, their actions will be closely monitored.

April, 2008:  We placed our order for Marketing Materials for summer, 2008.

May, 2008:  Contacted American Eagle News - (Malcolm E. Beecher, Sr. – Publisher/Editor:  Eagle News, Inc. - 6230 3rd Street, Washington, D.C.)   referencing a Paid Announcement in their newspaper about our work.  We never received a response from them.

May, 2008:  Contacted the Radio and Television Stations, referencing a Two-Minute Airtime "Shout-Out" during their Broadcasts throughout Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia, or just a "mention" of our work.  We never received a response from any of them.

June, 2008:  We removed ourselves from "Divas On The Prowl" after One (1) year of being a "member", with them insisting that we display their "Banner" on our website in order to "remain" a member,  but never receiving so much as a "written" show of support of our work from  them.

June, 2008:   We removed ourselves from Black Business Space on NING permanently, after its members complained to the Creator of that website that we would not allow them to post the "entire" contents of their endeavors on our page without complaint.   We tired quickly of having to start erasing the Travel, Sex, Insurance and Salon Ads the minute that we logged onto our page, so we opted to go on about our work using the "Old Fashioned” Method.  We asked for assistance in blocking this "Virtual Graffiti", but received any assistance.
