The  N  -Word Pledge

We understand that the N-word is a disservice to and an insult to our ancestors and all the hard word and sacrifices which they made for us, and for our descendants.  We understand that when anyone refers to us with the N-word, that they are limiting our potential.  We understand that when "we" refer to another Black person with the N-word that we are limiting  "their" potential.

We understand that the calling of or referring to "children" as the N-word amounts to passing down the insult to the next generation.  When we hear our family of friends use it, we will speak against it by explaining some of its history and how it is harmful, and by refusing to  let anyone use the N-word in our space.  In doing so,  we will move our people to new heights of peace, harmony and achievement.
